Architect Member (AIA)

AIA membership is open to individuals who are currently licensed to practice architecture in the United States. A copy of your current license in each jurisdiction is required to process your membership.

July 1 - September 30, 2009 Dues: $302 ($122 for National dues and $180 for State dues)

Associate Member (Assoc. AIA)

This category is open to individuals who:

Are interns participating in career responsibilities recognized by licensing authorities as constituting credit toward licensure.
Work under the supervision of an architect in a professional or technical capacity.
Hold a professional degree in architecture (provide a copy of your architecture degree), or
Work as a faculty member in a university program in architecture.

July 1 - September 30, 2009 Dues: $116.50 ($52.50 for National dues and $64.00 for State dues).

Complimentary Membership for Recent Graduates

Graduates with a NAAB-accredited degree in architecture may join AIA FREE upon graduation. Download the special application, fill it out and send it in to AIA Utah with a copy of your degree. You may only join for free the year you graduate.

This membership category is open to individuals who hold an architecture license or equivalent from a non-U.S. licensing authority (provide a copy of your current license).

This is a state and local-only membership and is open to individuals or companies who work with architects in providing client services (i.e., consultants and contractors), or offer architectural products or systems for use in buildings, or represent allied organizations.
